Truthfully, the question I get asked most by writers is "When should I mail my manuscript?" But if you're going to go to the trouble to time your projects, it's best to start long before you think you're ready to mail it.
Without a complete understanding of your own natal chart, transits, and progressions, you're pretty much limited to playing the odds. And there are trackable odds in your favor. You're not limited only by the first- and second-quarter moon phases, but the next void-of-course moon also must be taken into account. It's too time consuming to list all the partial days, hour by hour, so I'm listing full days with good, general beginning times, and a few partial days so the pickings aren't so slim.

Now, what counts as "beginning" a manuscript? Best rule is: write nothing down anywhere until you're in one of the favorable time slots. Not the first line, not the story question, not the GMC. Nothing.
